Preciosa® Maxima Rose & Chaton Montees (in setting) Sew On Stones

Preciosa® Maxima Rose Montee and Chaton Montees Sew on Jewels are decorative shaped crystals that are placed (mounted) in plated metal mounts or carriers so they look like a Tiffany set jewels. The metal casing holding the jewels is sewn into the fabric on the underside. They are applied to the fabric with proper stitching techniques. 

There are two kinds of montees: Rose montees, those that feature flat back Maxima rhinestones; and the Chaton Montees, those use Maxima Pointed Back fancy stones.
